Meet Cathy Donahoe

Vice President of Human Resources, Domo

Cathy Donahoe is the vice president of human resources at Domo, a Silicon Slopes-based cloud software company. With more than 25 years of HR leadership, Donahoe is responsible for all things “people” and “places”, including recruitment, retention, benefits and management of some of the top talent in the technology industry.

Donahoe, Domo’s fourth employee, oversees the growth of the Domo’s team and culture, having built the workforce to more than 800 employees in six countries over the past seven years.

Prior to joining Domo, Donahoe served as vice president of human resources at Extend Health, a technology-driven healthcare insurance exchange. She also led human resources for Omniture, which was sold to Adobe for $1.8 billion in 2009. At Omniture, Donahoe expanded employee growth into more than 20 countries and across 28 U.S. states, increasing employee headcount from 87 to over 1,100 in just five years.

Donahoe is recognized as a leader in the human resources field, as well as in the Utah technology industry. She has held various leadership positions in Utah’s Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), was co-chair of the Utah Tech Council Talent Shortage Task Force, serves on the Women’s Tech Council (WTC) Diversity and Inclusion Council and serves as the co-chair for the Utah IT Pathways industry advisory board. Donahoe is the 2013 WTC’s Human Capital Leadership Award Recipient.

Donahoe has a Masters in Organizational Management and Bachelors in Business Administration.
