Trish Hatch is a member of the executive committee and founding member of the Women’s Leadership Institute. She is responsible for events, curriculum, communication, sponsorships, day-to-day operations, and works directly with the executive and advisory boards.
Hatch established her career in wealth management and was a trusted resource for clients. After 25 years helping clients navigate the complicated investment landscape, she joined the Salt Lake Chamber as a member of the executive team and managed the President/CEO and worked with the executive committee. She developed strong relationships with key business leaders and quickly gained an understanding of the value and benefit of community involvement and saw a need within Utah companies to elevate the stature of women by fostering and promoting leadership. Being asked to serve as the director of the institute was a natural progression after her experience at the chamber.
A native of Calgary, Alberta Canada, Hatch earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in communication from Brigham Young University, graduating magna cum laude. She served on the YWCA nominating committee, the business advisory board for the Junior League, and volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House, the Road Home and Utah Youth Village. She is currently on the board of Girls On The Run, a non-profit organization where running is used to inspire and motivate girls, and on the planning commission for West Jordan City.
