Alex Adema is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Doppelmayr USA, the global leader in ropeway transportation systems with it’s US headquarters based in Salt Lake City, Utah. With more than two decades of executive experience—including prior roles as CEO and COO within the Outdoor and Wintersports industries, Alex has built a reputation for driving strategic growth while fostering inclusive, people-centered cultures that emphasis empowerment of women in leadership.

As an executive board member of the Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI) in Utah, Alex is an active advocate for advancing women in leadership and creating workplaces where women can thrive. He is a dedicated practitioner of WLI’s ElevateHER Challenge, the Institute’s flagship initiative focused on increasing the representation and influence of women in business. Alex successfully implemented the ElevateHER Challenge at his previous companies, embedding its principles into hiring practices, leadership development, and organizational strategy.

At Doppelmayr, Alex continues to champion gender equity by promoting inclusive leadership, mentoring emerging female leaders, and supporting initiatives that empower women across the ski industry and beyond.
