Meet Heidi Prokop

Heidi Prokop is Executive Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Community Relations at Zions Bank, where she has worked for more than two decades in various communications and strategy roles. Prior to joining Zions Bank in 2001, she held communications and web design positions at PBS Utah and the University of Utah, where she earned an M.A. in British and American Literature and a B.A. in English. She also completed the Consumer Bankers Association’s Graduate School of Retail Bank
Management.

Prokop serves on the Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts & Parks Tier 1 Advisory Board and the Utah Film Center’s board of directors. Her past board leadership includes roles with the Utah Division of Arts and Museums, Sundance Institute, and KRCL 90.9 FM. An advocate for women locally and within the financial services industry, she received the Salt Lake Chamber’s 2018 Pathfinder Award, the 2008 YWCA Young Leaders Award and has been listed among Zions Bank’s Top Team honored in American Banker
magazine’s “Most Powerful Women in Banking” issue.
