This week we celebrated International Women’s Day – a worldwide day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This year’s theme is “Choose to Challenge.”
It’s also an opportunity to mark a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. The celebration has occurred for well over a century, with the first gathering held in 1911. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality.
The Women’s Leadership Institute was honored to participate in spreading awareness.
